Sherry Mirbod is a full-time accounting professor at Montgomery College, where she has been teaching since 2004. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tehran and a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with a focus on accounting from NOVA Southeastern University in Florida.

Sherry is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of both the Maryland Association of CPAs and the Maryland Society of Accountants. With over 30 years of teaching experience and professional work at multiple CPA firms, she has provided auditing, financial accounting, and income tax services for a wide range of clients. This extensive industry experience allows her to create a dynamic, real-world learning environment in the classroom.
